Bed Bugs in Florida
Bed bugs are considered to be blood sucking insects. These pests rank high on the grossness factor chart. This is mainly due to the fact that bed bugs feed on human blood. Bed bug bites cause skin irritations such as itchy skin and swelling of the bite site. One way to quickly identify bed bug activity is by checking your bed sheets for blood spots. These dried up blood spots may appear black in color. During your inspection you may also find the bed bug itself. Bed bugs look mahogany in color and are flat similar to that of a watermelon seed.
